Michelle Choi's practice focuses on healthcare, life sciences, and technology clients on an array of complex legal and regulatory issues. These issues include reimbursement, compliance, privacy, and data security matters.
In her healthcare and life sciences work, Michelle represents providers, payers, and manufacturers on a broad range of matters, including regulatory compliance and coverage denial appeals.
With privacy and data security matters, Michelle has experience in drafting policies and procedures, as well as advising on cyber insurance issues. She also regularly contributes to the firm’s Security, Privacy & the Law blog.
During law school, Michelle served on the Executive Board of Michigan Health Law Organization and advocated for clients in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic, where she gained experience working in a Medical-Legal Partnership. She also interned at Health Law Advocates representing clients to help them obtain health care services or coverage they need and continues to stay involved by serving on the Rising Attorneys’ Committee.
